I want to "drink the kool-aid" on the Lakers, but the Hornets looked tough last year. I mean c'mon, they took the Spurs (a.k.a. "The Empire") to 7 games! I really do not see anyone in the East getting any better than they were last year (this includes the 76ers). I suppose we shall see in June of 2009.
